My name is Kyle.

I serve as pastor of a local church in rural, middle America. I am a parent of one and a husband of one. I’m hugely blessed in these roles and everyday I pray that God would give me the grace to continue to grow in these areas. It probably goes without saying that these things greatly influence how and what I write.

I am many things, from terribly flawed to lavishly loved and mercifully rescued. One thing I’m not is a blogger. I know, seems odd to say that in the “about” section of a blog. But for many, many days prior to writing I wondered what am I doing with a blog! It finally came down to my goal to write more (and hopefully, better). So here I am, writing a blog. Two main reasons I chose a blog: 1) it’s a great deal more obvious when I’m slacking; 2) there’s always an outside chance something I pass along may encourage someone else.

Thanks for stopping by. If you’re encouraged, challenged, or even confused by something here, give me a shout. I’d love to hear from you.
